You were there when I was born, as you so often reminded me. You were there right after my baby was born. You have always been that sounding board, offering up your opinion, your shoulder to cry on and your heart. You were always there, and always loved. I miss you with all my heart.

Patty and I would like to express our most sincere and heartfelt sympathy for the loss of your husband and father. As and adopted Baumer, I can honestly say how much of an honor it has been to be part of this family for as long as I have. We came to know and enjoy Dickie (and Julia, Danny and Sara and kids. Jeremiah and Brandi and family, and Uncle Ronald for many reasons. Some include how faithful everyone is in going out of their ways to see us if we are passing through your area, at a race for Brett, etc. I watched how much Dickie grew to love his family. I think we are all keenly aware of how fragile and temporary life truly is. God is faithful to His servants, and He will meet you in your loss and show you His true loving nature as your Heavenly Father if you allow Him to do that. We love you all!
