So sorry to hear of Helen's passing. She was always such a kind and sweet lady. I have many fond memories of watching the boys play baseball on top of the hill at Lions Park with Helen and Dan (and Lily). We had many laughs together!! She and Dan became like family to me. Fly high sweet lady.

You were always a dear loving friend. We were in 4-H together, but you far surpassed anything I ever did. We respected our dads who worked so hard on their farms and we enjoyed growing up on a farm. We also enjoyed being cheerleaders together and all the many games we traveled to so we could cheer on our team. I will miss you, dear friend. With love, my dear friend, Carolyn Ford Pennington

While growing up and in my babysitting years I had the honor to know Helen. Helen and Dan cherish family, friends and neighbors. They were always a large fixture in the community, town of Zionsville and county. Helen was the center of her husband Dan's world. She was the calm to his funny . Proper queen to his Court Jester. Helen always accepted me as one of her adpoted kids. As I was allowed to care for her grandchildren. Helen always lend a kind and helping hand to anyone in need. Helen will be missed greatly by her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. We as a community are a better place because she was in it.

So many memories of you and Dan giving me a hard time in church, you telling Dan to stop and just smiling. We raise money for Alzheimer's and we will continue to do so in your memory and my dad's. Dan always plays in honor of you and we love you both. I'm glad you are whole again walking with Jesus and probably serving him brownies!!

I am so sorry to hear of Helen's passing. Even though I haven't seen her in many years we spent eleven years going g to school together. Union Township was our wonderful grade school and we attended Zionsville High School also. We lived close enough that I was able to visit the awesome family farm. Rest in peace Helen, you were a really nice schoolmate.
