Jeff Freeman, 67, passed away Monday, February 15, 2021, in Indianapolis, Indiana. Jeff was born to the late Albert “Glen” and Eileen (Wann) Freeman in Elwood, Indiana on March 12, 1953.
Jeff enjoyed golfing, especially at his favorite course, Meridian Hills. He loved to have his lawn in perfect condition, resembling a golf course. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, as well as many other sports. He spent his career in the moving industry where he made many lifelong friendships. He loved to travel to Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, where he enjoyed dining at his favorite spot, The Salty Dog. Most of all, Jeff enjoyed being a Papaw to his three grandchildren.
Jeff is survived by his wife, Sherrie (Snyder-Eberg) Freeman, one daughter, Ali Gottschalk (Thomas), three grandchildren, Nathan, Aiden, and Brooke. He is also survived by one sister, Brenda Smith, and brother, Terry Freeman (Debbie), as well as nieces and nephews, Dawn, Tami, Billy, A.J., Richard, and Holly as well as several great nieces and nephews. Additional survivors include: Jeff’s in-laws, Mike and Carol Snyder, Mick Snyder (Carlos), Jim Snyder (Yuhong), Andrew Snyder (Paul), Elizabeth Bowden (Bryan) and three nieces and nephews. Also surviving is his aunt, Ruth Wann.
Jeff is preceded in death by his parents, one sister Kay Riggs.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a celebration of life will take place in the summer.
