Margaret Patricia “Patty” Cook, age 97, of Franklin, passed away on Friday, February 19, 2021. She was born on Sunday, March 18, 1923 in Illinois to Warren and Cecilia Gresh, both of whom precede her in death. Patty was active in the Rosary Society at her church and loved to play golf. She was an avid knitter and crocheter, and was known for her beautiful laugh.

She is survived by her children: Larry (Karen) Cook, Ruth Ann (Joseph) Whorton, and Michael (Patrice) Cook; sister: Carolyn Sokolnicki; as well as twelve grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Patty is also preceded in death by her husband: John Joseph Cook; daughter: Janet Kasper; and brothers: Kenneth Gresh and Eugene Gresh.

There are no services scheduled. Arrangements are in the care of Simplicity Funeral & Cremation Care, Indianapolis.
