Mary Lu Moran left a message on October 14, 2020:
Family: although not mentioned in obituary, Paul and Virginia lived many years on state road 47 Thorntown. I live next door, to the east. They were wonderful , kind, and friendly neighbors. After Virginia died ( attended her funeral) Paul and I often visited over the fence or in the driveway. He was always a kind friend and good neighbor. Missed him when he went to live elsewhere, never knew where he’d gone. My deepest sympathy to his family. You are all in my prayers. Mary Lu Moran, 6743 W St Rd 47 Thorntown.

So sorry to learn of your father’s passing. Always knew I had friends both in and out of school with your parents. We shared lots of adventures and experiences. All three of you were dear to my heart with fond memoirs of each of you. Sorry I can not attend visition but you are in my heart. Staying close to home these days. Hugs to all. Birdie and family.

My deepest respect and condolences to the entire Hart family. I remamber Mr. Hart as a great, firm, friendly, and fun teacher. He made our Shop and Mechanical Drawing classes interesting and helped us feel a great sense of accomplishment. He was always encouraging and earned a deep respect from me. It was always great to hear his stories about his Cattle and the farm life. God Bless you Mr. Hart. Brian McMillan. Class of '76

I would like to send my condolences to Mr. Hart's family. I will always remember him for his work at what was Zionsville Jr. High. He was my shop teacher in 8th grade and mechanical drawing in 7th grade. He is definitely one of the best teachers I had in the Zionsville school system. God bless you all. Your parents/grandparents will never be forgotten.
